New study: 88 percent of women want to improve their bikini bodies
A new study found that nearly nine in 10 American women would like to improve some aspect of their body before daring to bare in a summer bikini, according to a recent press release. The survey, conducted by Wakefield Research, found that even women who eat well and exercise frequently still have stubborn trouble areas that they can never seem to target. Fifty-four percent of the respondents said they would change their thighs, while 74 percent would opt to improve their tummies.
Fortunately, surgical cosmetic procedures have become increasingly more sophisticated, allowing for safe and effective operations with relatively little downtime. One consistently popular option at Christopher Craft Cosmetic Surgery is the Miami Mommy Makeover, which combines several procedures for maximum results.
Many celebrity moms have chosen to get similar mommy makeovers, such as model, actress and mother of three Shanna Moakler. Late last year she decided to tighten her chin, arms and tummy.
“I’ve had three kids and so, I don’t know, I just was in a place in my life where I felt like I wanted to do some stuff,” Moakler told FOX News. “Something that I want people to know is it wasn’t just something like a shortcut or an easy way out for me. I work out really hard. I work out one to two hours a day, and I do cardio yoga and the Tracy Anderson program so it wasn’t just something I took lightly.”
