A Brazilian-born flight attendant who now lives in London took his love of Barbie and Ken to the next level when he underwent numerous procedures to look like a Mattel doll. Thirty-year-old Rodrigo Alves has had 20 cosmetic procedures, including nose jobs, liposuction, six-pack implants, calf shaping and Botox fillers to appear more like a Ken doll, whom he refers to as the “ideal man.” So far, his surgeries have cost him $168,850.

In addition to admiring the Ken, Alves admits that he used to be teased a lot when he was younger, which seriously hurt his self-esteem and inspired him to get plastic surgery. Kids at school would often tease him because of the size of his nose, claiming it was the “biggest nose they’d ever seen.”

Alves never felt comfortable in his skin until is first surgery in 2004. After his surgeries, he has found a new sense of confidence and even refers to himself as a popular socialite. 

“With Ken everything is exactly in the right place – his back, his biceps, his jawline. So of course I’d like to look like him. He’s perfect,” Alves tells new site SWNS. “I’d like to make my shoulders bigger, my bum rounder, my pecs larger and probably another nose job.”
